• Manages all aspects of assigned projects (typically valued up to $1M) from award through completion, including site management, budgeting, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget. • Serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle. • Collaborates with local Convergint Project Managers, Customers, and Program Managers to align on project goals and support execution. • Develops and manages project installation plans in coordination with local teams, including implementation of job execution strategies. • Maintains accurate records of job status, material flow, change orders, and other documentation to support internal and external reporting. • Identifies project risks and implements strategies to mitigate them, minimizing cost deviations and schedule delays. • Partners with technical subject matter experts to create necessary project documentation, including runbooks and execution plans. • Oversees project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning. • Regularly communicates project progress, schedules, and changes to stakeholders, with a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction. • Ensures compliance with scope of work, delivery standards, quality control, and customer-specific requirements. • Acts as “our customer’s best service provider” at all times thereby ensuring Convergint is the customer’s first choice for service. • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
• College degree, trade school or equivalent experience • Associates degree in Engineering or related field • Minimum 3 years relevant engineering, field service or project management experience • Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation and/or AV systems (Preferred but not required) • Previous project supervisory experience (Preferred but not required) • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification; industry-specific certifications and/or licenses; must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
