• Establish and maintain manufacturer/vendor relations for Irby’s gas business across the US • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to establish clear business needs • Support and implement manufacturer/vendor strategies within designated territories • Master transactional sourcing activities • Create and maintain manufacturer/vendor quote databases • Analyze large data sets, track trends, and extract actionable insights • Publish detailed data and marketing reports regarding sales, historical demand and performance • Develop quantitative models to inform decision making • Evaluate and apply the concept of total cost of ownership (TCO) • Maintain vendor quote accuracy in ERP system • Create and maintain key account contract files • Actively focus on maximizing contract values • Hold manufacturers/vendors accountable to perform at a high level • Oversee product identification changes • Partner with Corporate Gas Buyers on various procurement related activities • Collaborate with Inside Gas sales staff and operational managers • Oversee the setup of new gas items • Work with account management to identify contract cost saving opportunities • Analyze ongoing business requirements across projects and business units • Provide support for Request for Proposal (RFP) pricing process
• 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Strong knowledge of utility vendor base both in product offering and applicable market position • Experience operating within the Eclipse ERP system and internal Irby reporting (Intranet and DSP) • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, such as Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills
