📋 Description

• Gather, analyze, and systematically document business requirements in the areas of reporting and Business Intelligence • Plan, facilitate, and conduct workshops with business and IT stakeholders • Analyze existing data assets and perform data queries using SQL • Identify and analyze inconsistencies between different data sources • Identify synergies between different business requirements and reporting needs • Precisely specify data requirements within the existing systems and data landscape • Design BI dashboards while taking existing reporting and analytics solutions into account • Analyze and help shape data models, and assess and improve data quality • Analyze relationships between source systems, data flows, metrics, and reporting solutions • Translate business requirements into concrete data, reporting, and BI solutions • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on data protection requirements and upcoming data processing activities • Work closely with business departments, Data Engineers, BI Developers, and other stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in data, reporting, or Business Intelligence environments • Extensive experience in structured requirements analysis, business process analysis, and requirements documentation • Very good knowledge of Power BI, along with experience designing reports and dashboards • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and experience with Semantic Models • Experience with AWS Athena and a good understanding of ETL processes • Good SQL skills for independently analyzing and querying data • Understanding of data models, data quality, data architectures, and complex data flows • Experience facilitating workshops, along with strong consulting and stakeholder management skills • Ability to clearly translate business requirements into data and reporting solutions • Data-driven, analytical, and systems-oriented mindset, with a good understanding of organizational interdependencies • High degree of independence, strong prioritization skills, and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to navigate differing interests and areas of tension confidently • Business-fluent German and English language skills
