📋 Description

• Design and document table structures, relationships, and data pipelines supporting financial operations and APIs • Develop and maintain SQL databases for core financial systems, including transaction processing, compliance reporting, and real-time analytics • Write stored procedures, views, and data transformations that ensure integrity across high-volume financial data • Implement rigorous data validation, logging, and audit trails aligned with industry standards • Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks in high-speed, event-driven environments where milliseconds matter • Collaborate with product, engineering, and risk teams to translate complex business logic into rock-solid database solutions • Contribute to data governance, retention, and encryption strategies that uphold confidentiality and compliance • Tune queries, refine processes, and find smarter ways to move, store, and retrieve data efficiently.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, SQL Server 2019+) • 7+ years in database development—preferably in financial services, banking, or fintech environments • Advanced performance tuning and query optimization skills • Strong understanding of data integrity, transactional systems, and ACID principles • Experience working with APIs, real-time data, and event-driven architectures • A problem-solver’s mindset—you love getting into the data weeds and emerging with clarity • Excellent communication and documentation skills • Comfortable in a remote, agile fintech environment where speed and precision both matter.
