📋 Description

• Lead a team of full stack and AI/ML engineers through coaching, regular 1:1s, growth plans, and hiring • Ship product and remain hands-on, spending 60–80% of time coding, reviewing, and shaping architecture • Own delivery and technical quality of the team roadmap with the Product Manager • Design features, review pull requests, and solve complex problems across the TypeScript stack • Raise technical standards through code reviews, architectural guidance, best practices, and AI-assisted engineering workflows • Partner with engineering leadership on team topology, processes, and platform technical direction

🎯 Requirements

• Typically 7+ years of software engineering experience • Proven track record delivering complex, scalable web applications • Strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React • Ability to reason across the full stack, from database to browser • Leadership experience as an Engineering Manager, team lead with direct reports, or senior tech lead • Experience mentoring engineers, leading projects, and shaping team practices • Genuine desire to remain 60–80% hands-on and coding • Passion for developing engineers and building a healthy, high-performing team • Excellent communication skills in English • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences • Understanding of LLM-based applications or ML algorithms is a bonus, not required
