📋 Description

• Operate consultatively with customers and prospects to define challenges and opportunities • Map customer challenges to the Couchbase Ecosystem and present differentiating business value • Educate customers, challenge assumptions, and become a trusted advisor • Present possible approaches and innovative solutions • Support technical and business discovery activities, including workshops and demonstrations • Work with sales teams on account strategy and identify additional opportunities • Manage customer PoC/Pilots, including acceptance criteria and issue escalation/resolution • Develop and deliver company and product presentations and demonstrations • Explain the Couchbase Ecosystem and its applicability to business objectives to managers, architects, and developers • Act as technical product expert and advisor while monitoring the competitive data-solutions landscape • Partner with Product Management and Engineering to provide field feedback and represent customer perspectives • Identify and write internal and external technical collateral, including deployment architectures and best practices

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in a Pre-Sales/Customer-Facing/Consulting Role • 3+ years of experience in software development or related industries • Familiarity with NoSQL databases or other distributed high-performance systems • Excellent presentation skills, from development roles to the C-Suite • Programming skills with any one of: Java, Python, Javascript, .NET, C, SQL • Experience with at least one major cloud service provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP • Experience designing solutions on at least one major database platform, including data modeling, indexes, and query optimization • Fluency in English and Korean
