• Baccalaureate or higher-level degree from an accredited college or university • 10+ years of experience in global trade control management and compliance • Knowledge of international strategic trade control norms, best practices, and proliferation trends • Experience drafting laws and regulations governing the control of trade and transfer of dual-use goods and technologies and conventional arms • Experience providing training and technical consultations to national governments on nonproliferation issues • Experience developing internal compliance programs (ICP) and resources for private industry and providing on-site export control training for company personnel • Experience as a speaker and presenter at regional and international export control conferences • Evidence of research and publications on trade controls-related issues • Prior experience with the USG Export Control and Related Border Security (EXBS) compliance program
