📋 Description

• Serve as an enthusiastic mentor and champion of a culture of quality and care • Apply strategic thinking to software development, including automation • Participate in team/squad ceremonies • Develop and enhance system functionality • Participate in defining and reviewing technical solutions • Conduct code reviews and share best practices • Ensure the quality and stability of deliverables • Prepare and monitor system deployments • Monitor the health of production systems using observability tools • Analyze metrics, logs, and traces to identify failures and opportunities for improvement • Communicate effectively in writing and verbally

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Systems Analysis, Information Technology, Computer Science, or another related field • Experience with Java 11, 17, or 21 • Experience with the Spring Framework • Experience with Java EE frameworks, such as Struts and JSF • 5+ years of experience as a software developer • Experience developing APIs and strong knowledge of REST architecture • Knowledge of containerization with Docker and/or Kubernetes • Experience working in teams that use agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, and/or SAFe • Knowledge of programming best practices, DevOps, CI, Git, static analysis, Sonar, SCM, and NoOps • Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and/or Oracle 12C+ • Experience with messaging systems, preferably Azure Service Bus; RabbitMQ or Kafka are a plus • Experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure; AWS, GCP, and/or IBM Cloud • Experience integrating with government and third-party services, APIs, web scraping, and/or scraping services • Experience with front-end technologies, such as React • Experience in financial systems is a plus • Knowledge of JasperReports and/or JasperStudio is a plus • Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus • Experience with Java and Struts is a plus • Knowledge of Hibernate is a plus • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure is a plus • Knowledge of cloud/microservices systems architecture is a plus • Knowledge of UML modeling is a plus
