Crisis Action is a catalyst and coordinator for organizations working together to protect civilians from armed conflict. The organization engages in campaigns and partners with various entities to respond to crises such as those in Sudan and Syria, promoting collective efforts for humanitarian assistance and civil protection.

📋 Description

• Design and implement campaigns and advocacy on the Sudan conflict • Provide sophisticated insight and analysis on the position of key African governments and regional organisations towards the conflict in Sudan • Expand the organization's regional relationships across policy and decision makers, the media, influencers, partners and other stakeholders • Rapidly convene and facilitate global conversations for knowledge sharing as conflicts or crises emerge in Sudan or the Horn of Africa • Produce high-quality external communications to engage a variety of audiences

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7 years of professional experience in relevant fields • Exceptional understanding of campaigns and advocacy strategy development and implementation in any relevant field (e.g. human rights, humanitarian, peacebuilding, gender, conflict, or otherwise) • A political operator who can build and sustain relationships with senior officials and political figures • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think and work strategically • Knowledge of the Sudan conflict within the Horn of Africa region • Experience convening and building coalitions • Strong facilitation skills • Outstanding interpersonal, communications and relationship building skills • Proficient in using a range of digital communication and collaboration technologies • Fluency in written and spoken English
