• Manage receipt, storage/warehousing, dispatch, and distribution of goods for humanitarian response programming in Cuba • Collaborate with direct reports and programming leads on pipeline analyses and synchronize goods supply with programming needs • Ensure logistics processes comply with CRS and donor regulations and inventory accountability standards • Determine logistics service requirements, specifications, and delivery schedules • Anticipate and address supply-chain availability problems • Supervise staff, manage team dynamics and well-being, provide coaching and development plans, and complete performance management • Assess transportation resources, storage facilities, leasing options, and logistics services • Maintain relationships with port operations, freight forwarders, customs clearing agents, and suppliers • Plan and manage supply chain activities from customs clearance through receipt, transport, storage, dispatch, and distribution • Support and accompany partner logistics staff at national and diocesan levels • Prepare accurate and complete product movement reports • Record and verify inventory movements in the Insight system • Establish learning environments and provide capacity strengthening to staff and partners
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or other relevant degree required • Minimum of 2-3 years work experience in supply chain/logistics management, with progressive responsibility • Master’s Degree in Supply Chain or other relevant Master’s, or equivalent experience, strongly preferred • Experience in relief supply chain management preferred • Professional certification(s) in Supply Chain is a plus • Experience with commodity tracking systems is a plus • Logistics management experience in Latin America and the Caribbean is highly desirable • Proficient in MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) • Knowledge and experience with transportation, inventory management, and distribution • Staff management experience, including designing and facilitating training • Knowledge of national and international import/export legislation and common customs regulations • Strong planning, coordination, prioritization, and time management skills • Strong analytical skills with ability to make independent judgment and decisions • Ethical conduct in accordance with recognized professional and organizational codes of ethics • Proactive, resourceful, solutions-oriented and results-oriented • Ability to work collaboratively and promote a team environment • Fluency in Spanish and English required • Must be willing and able to travel up to 30% • Ability to legally work where the position is to be performed • Successful candidates requiring residence or frequent travel outside a home country must clear pre-employment medical clearance
