📋 Description

• Teach synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams on Monday and Tuesday every week • Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning and engagement • Modify instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse student needs • Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies to communicate subject matter to students • Maintain compliance with accreditation related to instructional quality, scheduled class hours requirements and CIAT policies and procedures; submit documentation such as sign-in attendance, pre-post exams, lab sheets, student snapshots, and accreditation/state required documents • Coordinate textbook, handouts, supplies, equipment, exam vouchers and other items with sufficient notice to ensure timely procurement • Promote collaboration with other staff members and participate in the implementation of new projects, ideas, etc. • Adhere to the CIAT business casual attire; refer to Employee Handbook

🎯 Requirements

• Official transcripts of bachelor's degree or higher (must be from an accredited institution) and certification on the subject being taught • CompTIA Linux+ certification • At least three years’ experience in the respective field OR two years of teaching experience • Synchronous online teaching experience preferred • Advanced subject matter expertise with ongoing professional development • Effective presentation skills, communication and technology skills • Proficiency with MS Office applications including Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; learning technologies such as Canvas • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and high dependability • Ability to multitask and solve problems rapidly • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, academic departments, and administration to support student success • Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment • Knowledge of current trends, best practices, and didactic approaches in higher education • Demonstrated ability to deliver engaging and effective lesson plans • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written • High ethical standards and compliance with college policies and regulations
