📋 Description

• Join mobile team as an embedded engineer building new features for flagship Android news app. • Work inside Jira board, attend standups, and ship code alongside internal team. • Handle back-end services while owning the native Kotlin layer. • Benefit from design and product decisions already validated on iOS side. • Build redesigned home screen with dynamic, personalizable content feeds. • Revamp navigation across the app. • Integrate audio for continuous/background play and vertical video playback. • Create Food and Sports brand destinations including Discover map and live scoreboards. • Develop embedded web views for games, puzzles, and interactive content.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of production Kotlin experience in consumer-facing Android apps. • Strong Android Views + ViewBinding/DataBinding skills (the codebase uses Views, no Jetpack Compose). • Experience with MVVM architecture using ViewModel, Repository pattern, Hilt DI, and Navigation Component. • Experience with GraphQL clients, specifically Apollo Kotlin SDK. • REST API integration with Retrofit + Moshi. • WebView integration and JavaScript bridge patterns (addJavascriptInterface). • Gradle Kotlin DSL build configuration with product flavors. • Comfortable working inside an existing codebase with an established team.
