• Analyze claim and payment exceptions to determine appropriate resolution steps • Research claims through payer portals or direct payer outreach using established guidelines • Accurately document actions taken and outcomes achieved • Escalate issues that fall outside of defined procedures with recommendations • Maintain regular and predictable attendance and meet productivity and quality standards • Handle sensitive financial and patient information in compliance with HIPAA and company policies • Perform additional related duties as assigned by management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage routine, repeatable work accurately • Ability to follow documented procedures and guidelines • Effective written and verbal communication skills with internal and external partners • Ability to work independently within scope and escalate appropriately when issues require additional support • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED) required • Associates Degree preferred.
