📋 Description

• Clinically interprets and evaluates all physician medication orders for therapeutic appropriateness, cost effectiveness, accuracy, safety, and completeness • Initiates, reviews, and updates all required documentation to verify accuracy, communicating clinical and technical information • Works with product procurement/reimbursement team to provide payor specific formulary products • Participates in patient evaluation for acceptance, product selection, device selection, and supply management • Directly supervises pharmacy support personnel in the appropriate compounding, packaging, and labeling of compounded sterile products • Maintains security of all legend items and accurately maintains all legally required records • Participates in Performance Improvement activities, educational programs, and departmental/branch meetings • Assists in training and orientation of new employees as requested by pharmacy manager or designee • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including on-call responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in Clinical Pharmacy • Computer skills (word processing, database, spreadsheet programs) • Active Pennsylvania pharmacy license that is in good standing • Must reside in the State of Pennsylvania • Read, analyze, interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations • Write and present information to managers, patients, nurses, and physicians • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
