• Join an award-winning and talented organization that delivers world-class workforce and project solutions. • The VP of Public Sector is a strategic P&L position reporting to the CEO, responsible for growth of public sector business in technical staffing, SOW, and projects. • Run a team of Business Development leaders, Account Managers, PreSales, Proposal, Capture, Technical, and Recruiting Teams to drive SLED and Federal growth. • Lead by example, build strong client relationships, manage P&L in state, federal, and local government agencies. • Own revenue and growth targets across the SLED portfolio, focus on multi-year, high-value contracts. • Lead, coach, and mentor the business development team to meet pipeline, win-rate, and client acquisition goals. • Establish executive-level relationships with agency CIOs, procurement officers, and department heads. • Expand presence across state master contracts, cooperative agreements (NASPO, TIPS, Sourcewell), and key procurement channels. • Drive market expansion into untapped geographies or verticals (health, transportation, public safety). • Oversee RFP/RFQ/SOW response strategies and ensure competitive, compliant proposals. • Negotiate terms and pricing with government clients to maximize margin while maintaining value. • Generate revenue strategies and new business with assistance from BD team. • Formulate strategies to grow the Book of Business & achieve team targets. • Monitor client satisfaction through quality metrics and scorecards. • Travel to client sites and attend networking and industry events. • Oversee processes, identify efficiency gaps, develop processes to improve speed, quality, candidate experience, manage costs and maximize ROI. • Create processes and solutions to boost productivity across departments. • Market brand value and create presence on social media. • Monitor recruitment metrics and make data-driven decisions. • Provide monthly and quarterly metrics and forecasts for revenue and resource planning. • Use technology to automate recruiting, sourcers, onboarding, timekeeping. • Motivate staff and attend industry networking events for presenting and speaking opportunities.
• 15+ years of proven track record in the public sector tech solutions and staffing industry. • 10+ Experience in running operations and P&L management. • Technical and Professional sales, staffing, recruiting, or related experience in the public sector space • Enthusiastic, goal-oriented, organized, dedicated, focused, and driven individual • Self-driven and enthusiastic while demonstrating a professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills • Must be organized, detail-oriented, highly responsive, and customer-focused
