📋 Description

• Work collaboratively within a Scrum environment to ensure the quality and reliability of SaaS solutions. • Assess test objectives and create comprehensive test plans and test cases. • Use exploratory and automated testing techniques and tools. • Capture and leverage test and quality metrics. • Execute test plans to validate pre-production software. • Collaborate with internal teams to identify system requirements and planned-solution goals. • Provide feedback on and contribute to user-story acceptance criteria. • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities. • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts. • Identify and document bugs and issues. • Perform revalidation and regression testing after bug resolution. • Track QA metrics such as defect density and open defect counts. • Stay current with testing tools and test strategies. • Contribute to preventing production issues, supporting customer success, and TradeCentric's growth. • Report to the Quality Assurance Engineering Manager. • Work ET timezone hours.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced English, both written and spoken. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field strongly preferred. • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in QA. • Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing for SaaS platforms. • Ability to simulate production scenarios, replicate issues, and identify edge cases. • Proficiency in testing applications and APIs built with PHP 8.x and Vue.js, or similar. • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, and Selenium. • Hands-on experience with Python automation scripting and SQL. • Knowledge of XML, cXML, JSON, and HTTP/API protocols. • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. • Experience testing in a Scrum and CI/CD environment. • Experience with source code control systems, specifically GitHub. • Experience with performance and/or security testing is nice to have. • Experience in B2B, e-commerce, or integration domains and software is nice to have. • Candidate must be located in Mexico. • Advanced English required, written and spoken.
