📋 Description

• Provide professional customer service and technical support to IDT customers pre- and post-sale regarding product recommendations and end-use • Provide experimental and assay design expertise for customers • Develop technical content and training • Communicate with and support customers with pre- and post-sales technical support for genomics products • Troubleshoot product use and applications using customer-provided data and IDT sales and manufacturing databases • Answer customer inquiries by phone, email, and chat • Support IDT service departments and Sales through consultation or escalation of product questions, customer issues, and technical inquiries • Handle the intake and completion of custom design requests • Report to the Senior Manager of Scientific Applications Support, EMEA & APAC, as part of the EMEA Scientific Application Support Team

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related science field required • At least 3 years of experience with genomics applications in an industry or academic research laboratory environment, or in the life science industry, or relevant experience, required • Previous experience working in a customer-facing role • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and proficiency in typing required • Excellent communication skills required • M.S. or Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline preferred • 5+ years of experience with genomics applications in an industry or academic research laboratory environment preferred
