📋 Description

• Provide professional field service support for Molecular Devices products • Perform installations, service repairs, and preventative maintenance for Molecular Devices instruments • Provide timely, high-quality on-site troubleshooting and maintenance services for bio-analytical measurement and research instrumentation • Become proficient in supporting the company’s products • Handle assigned customer service inquiries, repairs, installations, preventative maintenance, and OQ schedules • Analyze and solve problems using critical thinking and implement suitable solutions • Support customers in advancing disease detection, drug discovery, and therapeutic development • Travel weekly and provide technical support mainly across the BeNeLux countries • Report to the EU Central Field Service Manager as part of the Field Service team • Occasionally travel to other locations for training and to assist other service teams

🎯 Requirements

• Based in the Netherlands • Minimum 3 years of industry-relevant work experience in a similar role • Good mechanical, electronics, and electrical experience and knowledge • Experience with assembly-level fault detection and testing • Customer-focused, able to communicate well, and able to work independently • Ability to travel with minimum 80% utilization • Regular overnight travel within primarily the BeNeLux region • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record • Live in the Netherlands and have easy connection to an airport for international travel • Instrument-specific training will be provided • Preferred: previous experience in IT, computer and network management • Preferred: previous experience with Cellular Imaging Products diagnostics and repairs • Preferred: previous experience working in a lab environment
