• Responsible for customer satisfaction in all aspects of the job • Increased throughput, decreased downtime, regular Preventive Maintenance, regular upgrades as deemed by Leica Microsystems technical staff • Advocate for the customer (internal and external) and a steward for the company • Reports to District Service Manager and is part of Life Sciences Service Organization • Works remotely to cover all New England, upstate New York with a high concentration of work in the Boston area
• Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, biological science or military equivalent • 1 year of computer literate (Microsoft Office Suite, Windows base networking) as well as Good Documentation Practices (GDP) • Minimum 5 years of troubleshooting skills and ability to use documentation for the purposes of troubleshooting • Ability to travel overnight 40‐50% of the time • A valid passport or equivalent for travel into Europe • Ability to lift 50 pounds
