📋 Description

• Perform on-site maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, upgrades, and remote technical support for advanced microscopy systems and instruments • Ensure rapid issue resolution and high customer satisfaction • Provide technical feedback and field insights to Product Service Specialists • Improve product reliability through effective cross-functional communication • Ensure compliance with service processes and documentation standards • Collaborate with Sales and Shared Services • Support training and knowledge-transfer activities • Achieve revenue and utilization targets • Work remotely across Germany Central and North • Report to the Area Service Manager as part of the DACH Service Organization

🎯 Requirements

• Completed technical vocational training plus at least two years of advanced technical specialization and several years of relevant professional experience, or alternatively completed technical vocational training combined with extensive professional experience as a Field Service Engineer • Strong communication skills • Solid methodological/problem-solving capabilities • Excellent self-organization • Extensive product knowledge • Strong IT skills, including SAP R/3 and Microsoft Office • Good written and verbal English proficiency • Ability to travel 80% within the territory or locations, including overnight travel • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record • Ability to lift, move, or carry equipment up to 30 kg • Previous experience with aftermarket service operations and a strong commercial mindset would be a plus • Proficiency in relevant business and service management systems would be a plus
