Dayforce provides an integrated SaaS application combining payroll, HR, benefits administration, workforce management (time and attendance, scheduling), and talent management to help organizations manage the employee lifecycle and payroll in a single system.

📋 Description

• The Senior Design Engineer (SDE) is a lead member of the core team for each Faith & Performance project • Provides direction and oversight through the project life cycle from sales concept to design development, construction drawings to implementation support • Collaborates with F&P SME teams as required • Mentors other design engineers on the project team • Responsible for vetting products and making detailed equipment decisions • Signs off on project bill of materials prior to purchasing • Recommends direction on scope changes and programming and commissioning activities • Approves drawing packages being done by other design engineers • Supervises them in their work • Negotiates changes in deliverables and schedules • Manages expectations • Conceptualizes system designs and determines system requirements • Provides technical expertise and coordination information to support the architecture, installation, and planning of live performance solutions • Develops project estimates, Bid Response submissions, and project agreements in partnership with the Sales Engineer and Proposal Manager • Tests, commissions, and configures subsystems during project deployment • Supports projects and teams in the build phase • Develops detailed design documentation strategy based on established engineering standard practices • Tracks engineering team tasks to completion • Generates functional system descriptions, completes block wiring diagrams, and custom plates • Researches, identifies, and recommends technology options for clients • Creates Sketchup Models to communicate concepts to clients • Maintains expertise in the industry through ongoing review of trade publications

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of professional live audio or video production experience as end user in relevant field • Candidates should possess a mastery of production system technologies with demonstrated specialization in at least one of the major disciplines – concert audio, broadcast video, and/or stage lighting • Ability to understand, synthesize and create AV system designs • Understanding of TCP/IP routing, QoS, VLAN’s and Wireless Access Points • Proficient in MS Office 365 and Apple Pages • Proficient in MS Excel and similar quoting tools (D-Tools, Jetbuilt, etc) for quote creation. • A thorough, demonstrable understanding of the construction process, installation and integration as well as architectural and construction drawings and specifications
