📋 Description

• Examine foreclosure title reports and abstracted documents for evaluation of effect on the chain of title and subsequent foreclosure action. • Search public records to determine legal condition of property title and requirements needed to cure defective title. • Summarize (abstracts) recorded documents which affect condition of title to property (e.g., mortgages, trust deeds, and contracts). • Determine conditions required to obtain clear title through a foreclosure, deed in lieu or other conveyance. • Examines mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, plat books, maps, contracts, and agreements to verify legal description, ownership, restrictions, or conformity to requirements. • Analyzes encumbrances to title, and prepares report outlining encumbrances and actions required to clear title. • Determine defendants required to obtain clear title through a foreclosure. • Initiates and follows-up on title claims. • Interacts with Attorneys, Clients and others to resolve title issues. • Completes title related steps assigned to the firm within the client systems. • Verify that the information in the title search and accompanying documentation is accurate and complete. • Analyze deeds, deeds of trust/mortgages, judgments, tax assessments and other applicable instruments. • Resolve problems relating to missing, incomplete, inaccurate or contradictory information contained in the title or accompanying documentation. • Identify title issues or defects. • Title claim preparation. • Provide an accurate and complete foreclosure report summary for our complaints dept./attorney.

🎯 Requirements

• High School/GED required • Bachelor’s Degree preferred • 5+ Years of Title and Foreclosure Experience • Phoenix, BKFS, Tempo and, Equator experience highly preferred • Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office products • Ability to manage and prioritize large caseload
