📋 Description

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data historian solutions • Lead efforts to integrate historian systems with various control systems and third-party applications • Conduct performance analysis and implement strategies for continuous improvement • Design and configure complex data tags to meet specific project requirements • Develop custom interfaces and connectors to enhance data integration capabilities • Develop and implement advanced security measures to protect historical data • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, taking a lead role in audits and assessments • Investigate and resolve complex issues related to data collection, storage, and retrieval • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers in the team • Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, installations, and troubleshooting procedures • Comply with Deep Digital's Quality Management System requirements and maintain required documentation, forms, and records • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operation of data integration and historian systems

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with design, implementation, and leadership in projects • Experience with AVEVA PI, AspenTech IP.21, AspenTech Inmation, Inductive Automation Ignition, and PTC Kepware • In-depth knowledge of data integration and historian system architecture and components • Strong understanding of industrial processes and automation systems • Expertise with data contextualisation, visualisation, and reporting platforms • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation tasks • Previous experience mentoring and leading a technical team • Good communication skills • Experience in the pharmaceutical sector • Work authorization to work in Ireland
