📋 Description

• Plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities with a focus on test automation using OpenText UFT • Analyze existing manual test cases for quality, completeness, and automation potential, and coordinate any required modifications • Design, implement, and further develop automated test cases for software products, web solutions, and hardware systems using OpenText UFT • Develop sequential and keyword-driven test scripts, and automate additional test cases from development projects and IT services • Perform automated functional, integration, system, regression, and acceptance testing, including the evaluation and documentation of test results • Analyze defects, maintain existing UFT test scripts, and further enhance them • Integrate and manage automated test cases using OpenText UFT and OpenText ALM / Quality Center, and document work progress in Jira • Create and maintain documentation for automated test scripts • Conduct handovers, including demonstrations and handover documentation • Onboard project staff and IT services and transfer knowledge on test automation, maintenance, and use of automated test scripts • Deliver training on OpenText UFT and on sequential and keyword-driven scripting approaches • DIGIT4U Business Solutions supports public-sector clients and industrial enterprise customers with IT services, consulting, transformation and digitalization advisory services, as well as program and project management

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience planning and executing software tests, with a focus on test automation in complex IT and service environments • Demonstrable experience automating tests for desktop, Microsoft Office, and reactive web applications, particularly using OpenText UFT • Practical experience with structured Object Repositories, the Page Object Pattern, descriptive programming for object identification, and parameterized and data-driven test scripts in OpenText UFT • Experience evaluating and designing test automation approaches in complex service and solution environments • Experience implementing automated end-to-end (E2E) test processes in integration test environments • Extensive knowledge of integrating and managing automated test cases with OpenText ALM / Quality Center and OpenText SDM • Experience providing technical consulting and further developing test automation strategies, including model-based test automation approaches • Experience analyzing, documenting, and tracking defects, as well as maintaining and further developing automated test scripts • Extensive knowledge of common testing methods and test processes • Experience collaborating and transferring knowledge with development teams, business departments, and responsible IT services • Documented certification in software testing, such as ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) or higher • Experience working in interdisciplinary project teams and coordinating with development, business departments, and project management • German at native level or at least C1 • English at B1 level
