📋 Description

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes under the direction of senior accounting staff • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for review by senior team members • Assist with reconciling subledger activity to general ledger balances; identify discrepancies and escalate to senior staff for resolution • Support variance analysis on balance sheet and income statement accounts as directed • Assist with the preparation of financial reporting deliverables for management and corporate reporting, including segment-level support • Assist with posting payroll-related journal entries in NetSuite under the guidance of senior accounting staff • Support general ledger accounting by preparing documentation and audit-ready support for transactions • Maintain documentation of accounting processes and support adherence to internal controls and company policies • Assist with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects as needed • Support senior team members in identifying opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • 2–4 years of accounting experience in public accounting or industry • Hands-on experience or coursework in account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analyses • Exposure to payroll accounting processes and related journal entries • Basic working knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting principles • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
