📋 Description

• Manage, monitor, maintain, patch, and securely configure Proxmox hypervisors across geographically distributed sites • Perform controlled Proxmox upgrades and version updates • Manage Dell server firmware and iDRAC updates • Monitor CPU, memory, storage, cluster health, and physical server performance • Administer Windows Server and Linux virtual machines • Apply patching, security baselines, configuration standards, and performance monitoring • Use NinjaOne RMM for remote administration, monitoring, patching, and configuration management • Identify and remediate configuration drift, performance degradation, and capacity risks • Monitor backup and disaster recovery platforms • Investigate backup failures and conduct documented test restores • Manage Linux-based CCTV servers and the NX Witness VMS environment • Monitor CCTV operating system, disk, storage, RAID, SMART, hardware, camera connectivity, recording, and retention • Manage SentinelOne Complete endpoint security and investigate security alerts • Provide service desk support for Wi-Fi, IPTV, and technology requests • Acknowledge, triage, resolve, and escalate tickets • Maintain infrastructure documentation and operational standards • Proactively monitor performance, capacity, and security vulnerabilities • Identify improvements in reliability, automation, and operational efficiency • Report on patch compliance, backup health, CCTV status, and security posture

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or comparable infrastructure role • Hands-on experience with virtualisation platforms; Proxmox highly preferred • Administration experience across Windows Server and Linux • Experience with patching and security hardening • Experience with RMM platforms such as NinjaOne or equivalent • Experience monitoring backup platforms and conducting documented test restores • Understanding of server hardware, storage, and firmware lifecycle management • Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills • Strong written English and ability to communicate with Australian-based stakeholders • CCTV or VMS experience, particularly NX Witness, desirable • Experience managing distributed infrastructure across multiple sites desirable • Dell server firmware and iDRAC familiarity desirable • Basic Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting skills desirable • SentinelOne or comparable endpoint security experience desirable • Ability to work remotely and autonomously • Strong documentation, organisation, communication, customer-focus, and collaboration skills
