📋 Description

• Negotiate the best commercial terms with suppliers for the procurement of raw materials. • Assist in the evaluation of suppliers and alternative products with more competitive pricing. • Research new products for replacement or addition to the current portfolio according to market demand. • Contribute with analyses of import statistics by collecting information on product entries into the country. • Assist in preparing and comparing planned vs. actual figures, monitoring inventory turnover and tracking commercial team actions, in order to ensure forecast compliance. • Proactively gather market intelligence for preventive actions and share it with the commercial team to align with strategic managers and suppliers. • Support monthly and ad hoc updates of preliminary cost or landed cost of products through the operational system to keep costs up to date. • Complete and review cash flow when requested by the finance team, updating purchase forecast values for domestic items. • Support, when necessary, requests for samples from suppliers and manage the receipt process to forward them to customers.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Chemistry, or related fields. • Prior experience in purchasing/supply chain focused on polyurethanes. • Intermediate to advanced English.
