📋 Description

• Manage a focused portfolio of complex, high-value personal injury cases involving commercial entities, trucking companies, construction contractors, property owners, and corporate defendants • Work directly with lead attorneys to develop and execute case strategy from intake through resolution or trial • Identify liability theories, coverage layers, and damages opportunities early in the case lifecycle • Conduct in-depth case evaluations and maintain detailed strategic case plans with clear milestones • Monitor statutes of limitations, discovery cutoffs, expert disclosure dates, and trial schedules • Identify case risks, coverage gaps, or evidentiary weaknesses and escalate them to the attorney • Prepare case status reports and briefings for attorneys, clients, and senior management • Coordinate with accident reconstructionists, private investigators, and field investigators to gather and preserve evidence • Oversee collection and preservation of black box data (EDR), surveillance footage, maintenance records, driver logs, and corporate policies • Manage spoliation holds and coordinate scene investigations, vehicle inspections, and expert site visits • Compile comprehensive evidence files and coordinate expert witness retention • Manage medical treatment documentation and coordinate with treating physicians, specialists, and life care planners • Build medical chronologies, catastrophic injury summaries, and comprehensive damages models • Track medical expenses, outstanding bills, and lien balances; negotiate medical liens and bills under attorney supervision • Identify and analyze commercial auto, general liability, umbrella/excess, cargo, and workers' compensation coverage • Research corporate defendant structures and available insurance assets • Communicate with insurance adjusters, coverage counsel, and defense attorneys • Track multiple insurance claims and assist with settlement evaluation and bad faith assessment • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients and provide regular strategic updates • Manage client expectations and conduct check-in calls or meetings with clients and families • Handle sensitive client communications and prepare clients for depositions, IMEs, and litigation milestones under attorney supervision

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 4–6 years of case management experience in personal injury, with at least 2–3 years focused on high-value or commercial cases (required) • Proven experience handling cases involving commercial trucking, construction accidents, catastrophic injury, or wrongful death • Deep understanding of multi-layer insurance coverage, commercial liability, and corporate defendant structures • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, catastrophic injury documentation, and damages modeling • Experience coordinating with expert witnesses, investigators, and life care planners • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English • Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office / Google Suite • Ability to manage a complex, high-stakes caseload independently in a fully remote environment • Impeccable attention to detail, strategic thinking, and professional judgment • Bilingual English/Spanish (strong plus) • Paralegal certificate or legal studies background • Experience with wrongful death, traumatic brain injury (TBI), or spinal cord injury cases • Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and commercial trucking compliance • Experience working on cases through trial, not just settlement • Knowledge of bad faith insurance practices and excess exposure
