• Execute regular payroll processing tasks for US and Canada with precision and timeliness, including audits, reconciliations, and reporting • Serve as a process owner, proactively identifying and implementing payroll process improvements and automation initiatives • Partner with internal teams (HRIS, Benefits, Legal, Equity) and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues • Support payroll-related projects of moderate complexity, such as compliance updates, audit prep, or payroll calendar transitions • Identify and flag workflow gaps, escalate to the appropriate teams, and contribute to documentation and knowledge-sharing efforts • Develop knowledge of North American payroll operations while learning scalable practices in a high-growth, fast-moving environment
• 3+ years of hands-on experience processing complex, multi-state US payrolls • Canadian payroll experience is a plus but not required • Proficiency in payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, or similar platforms • Advanced Excel or Google Sheet skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) • Proactive problem solver who identifies root causes and implements scalable, best-practice solutions with minimal direction • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment • Developing expertise in payroll fundamentals and eager to expand scope and take on new challenges
