📋 Description

• Join an agile engineering team building quality into LUMA, Dotmatics' scientific software platform • Own testing for a specific application module • Write, maintain, and extend automated test suites using Cucumber, TypeScript, Cypress, and Playwright where applicable • Contribute test scenarios during planning and test stories as they are built • Report on release readiness • Design and document functional, regression, and integration test cases • Investigate and reproduce defects, raise bug reports in JIRA, and verify fixes • Maintain reliable tests in CI pipelines and improve test execution and reporting • Interpret API documentation and create meaningful automated coverage • Collaborate with developers, application scientists, and DevOps engineers • Perform manual exploratory testing

🎯 Requirements

• 2–5 years' experience in QA/testing, including at least a year of hands-on test automation • Practical experience with Cypress, including selectors, custom commands, debugging failures, and Page Object Model • Working knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript, including promises and async/await • Experience with BDD/Cucumber, or willingness to pick it up quickly • Test case design and documentation skills • Comfort with Git and GitHub, including branching, pull requests, and code review • Experience working in JIRA or a similar tracking system • Ability to work in a code-first way and devise concrete testing approaches • Attention to detail and willingness to learn and accept feedback
