📋 Description

• Manage the SAP license inventory, including ensuring proper measurement, license assignment, and coordinating license purchase activities • Advise IT areas and products that use SAP, particularly on selecting the appropriate licensing, optimizing license costs and inventory, and defining requirements for new SAP contracts • Support the Service Manager in planning, administering, and allocating SAP maintenance fees to the responsible cost centers • Operate and further develop the Software Asset Management (SAM) tool and automate workflows and reports to improve efficiency • Advise internal customers on Software Asset Management and support license inventories and audits • Analyze license usage and identify cost-saving and optimization opportunities across various IT applications

🎯 Requirements

• University degree or equivalent vocational/technical qualification (e.g., 2-year technical college) or equivalent professional experience • Job-related experience in measurement using LAW (License Administration Workbench), SAP license metrics, and contract conditions • Solid knowledge of Software Asset Management (SAM) processes, ideally with experience implementing, operating, and enhancing SAM tools • Ability to analyze license usage and identify cost-saving opportunities • Experience automating workflows and reports, e.g., with Power Automate, scripting, or comparable tools • Strong analytical skills combined with a conscientious, results-oriented work style • Collaborative team player with enthusiasm for new trends and ideas
