📋 Description

• Develop and enhance Dropbox products to deliver exceptional user experiences • Build robust, scalable, and user-friendly features • Identify and deliver software solutions through milestones spanning a product focus or multi-component system • Write code alongside junior engineers, providing hands-on technical leadership and leading by example • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and analysts to understand user needs • Develop and execute short- and long-term roadmaps balancing business impact, user experience, and technical excellence • Mentor team members, participate in interviews, and engage in new initiatives • Build relationships with other engineering teams and collaborate across Dropbox functions • Participate in occasional on-call work to address bugs, outages, and operational issues

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering or related industry experience • BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience • Proven track record in identifying and delivering software solutions through milestones spanning a specific product focus or multi-component system • Experience developing and shipping large-scale web applications with a user-centric mindset • Proficiency in building user-facing software and supporting systems and libraries for web and/or desktop platforms • Preferred: Contributions to open source projects or technical communities • Preferred: Full-Stack Development • Preferred technologies: MySQL, Python, Go, Java, Rust
