📋 Description
• Drive the creation of advanced, user-focused features for the iOS application • Identify and fix complex codebase problems and guide architectural upgrades for scalability and efficiency • Advocate for engineering best practices, mentor junior engineers, and ensure code quality, security, and performance • Guide teams through development and launch of innovative features aligned with user needs and business objectives • Improve app performance, security, and efficiency through problem-solving • Encourage adoption of latest iOS trends and lead by example • Communicate technical insights across teams and foster a collaborative environment • Participate in on-call rotations when teams run Services with on-call responsibilities
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field (e.g., Physics or Mathematics), or equivalent technical experience • 8+ years of experience • Strong engineering skills and software fundamentals in developing iOS applications • Experience working with large native code bases with significant complexity • Experience leading a team environment and collaborating with cross-functional groups • A passion for building consumer applications with elegant and clean interfaces • Proficiency in Swift (preferred) • Experience developing, testing, shipping and supporting a product for hundreds of thousands of users (preferred)
