📋 Description
• Build and lead the company’s global GRC strategy across multiple frameworks including NIST CSF 2.0, SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, and SOX. • Modernize compliance through automation, continuous control monitoring, and data-driven reporting. • Lead enterprise risk management efforts and provide executive-level insights into exposure, mitigation, and maturity. • Oversee audits, certifications, and customer assurance programs. • Collaborate with cross functional leaders (IT, Legal, Marketing, Finance, HR, and R&D) teams to embed compliance requirements into day-to-day operations and product development. • Represent D-Wave in key customer and regulatory discussions, articulating our security and compliance capabilities with clarity and confidence. • Mentor and develop a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA) preferred. • 10+ years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance, and 5+ years in a leadership role. • Strong knowledge of modern frameworks and regulatory standards (NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, SOX). • Experience using GRC and control automation tools to streamline compliance operations. • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. • Proven ability to balance compliance requirements with strategic business objectives.
