📋 Description

• Direct and manage projects to achieve high standards of quality, adherence to schedules, and budget goals. • Ensure timely completion by overseeing and coordinating all project activities. • Develop and update design documents, including one-line diagrams, electrical plans, and specifications. • Use engineering software for tasks such as ground grid design, relay coordination, transformer sizing, load flow, and short circuit analysis. • Collaborate with customers, project teams, and management to ensure smooth project execution. • Prepare and manage project schedules and budgets, addressing any deviations promptly. • Ensure all engineering work complies with relevant standards (NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, ANSI) and utilize the document management system effectively. • Identify potential project issues and provide solutions. • Undertake short-term travel as required by project assignments.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution, with a preference for a focus on power systems. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in high voltage (230kV and above) electrical substation engineering and design. • Advanced understanding of high voltage electrical substation components, AC/DC fundamentals, and three-phase power systems. • Proficiency in engineering software for design and analysis tasks. • Ability to produce and interpret design documents and drawings necessary for project execution. • Proven ability to supervise a technical team and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. • Competent in word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications. • Familiarity with GIS is a plus.
