• Developing TEACH’s pipeline for new business with states • Securing opportunities to elevate TEACH’s presence in relevant spaces • Partner closely with the VP of Regions to monitor all contract renewals • Lead the strategy and process securing philanthropic funding • Ensure strong and compelling grant reports are produced
• A compelling communicator to external audiences • A strong track record of developing new business amongst government agencies • An accomplished relationship manager with 3+ years of success • A demonstrated commitment to TEACH’s mission • Culturally competent and a self-reflective leader • Strong writing and editing abilities • Strategic thinker and creative problem-solver • Demonstrated success raising dollars from foundations strongly preferred • Experience working with and/or managing lobbyists or policy advocates is preferred • Understanding of state budget cycles and legislative funding processes is preferred
