📋 Description

• Responsible for company-wide controlling, including annual planning, forecasts, budgets, and regular management reporting • Analyze relevant financial KPIs and monitor liquidity, cost structures, and profitability • Develop well-founded recommendations for action • Coordinate finance processes, including invoice management, reviewing incoming invoices, and working with external tax advisors on monthly and annual closing activities • Own the Candis invoice management tool • Further develop finance systems and processes • Support accounting activities • Identify optimization opportunities and drive the digitalization and scalability of finance processes • Serve as the central point of contact for finance-related questions across the company • Collaborate with executive management, the HR team, and other departments • Coordinate collaboration with external partners such as tax advisors and banks • Independently manage and prioritize topics while ensuring high quality and timely execution • Initially a one-year parental leave cover; permanent employment thereafter is explicitly possible • Experienced individual contributor role with no personnel management responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree in finance, controlling, or a comparable qualification • Several years of relevant professional experience in finance, controlling, or Financial Planning & Analysis, ideally in a dynamic business environment • Strong experience in corporate controlling and preparing forecasts, budgets, and management reports • Experience supporting monthly and annual financial closings, along with a solid understanding of accounting processes • Experience with digital finance tools such as Candis or comparable solutions • Advanced proficiency in Excel • Experience with DATEV Unternehmen Online and digital collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Asana • Experience with Shopify is a plus • Strong numerical aptitude and an analytical, structured approach to work • Strong hands-on mentality • Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working style • Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders • Very good German language skills (at least C1) • At least three years of professional experience outside of studies or vocational training in finance, controlling, or Financial Planning & Analysis • Availability to work full time: 40 hours per week across five days, or at least 35 hours per week
