âą Responsible for the pre-planning of programs, site sourcing and negotiating contracts âą Develop effective relationships with vendors to provide the best value to clients âą Review and determine scope of projects âą Research and recommend suitable destinations/venues for Client programs âą Prepare Budget matrix and compile hotel availability information âą Conduct hotel contract negotiations âą Coordinate detailed site inspections and initiate program development âą Attend client and vendor presentations as necessary âą Undertake special projects as directed
đŻ Requirements
âą Bachelorâs degree âą Microsoft Office suite knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) âą Event Management industry knowledge and experience âą Minimum of 3-5 years of sourcing, sales or operations experience âą 10+ years in hospitality industry (preferred) âą Intimate knowledge of event management industry (preferred) âą Knowledge of world geography (preferred) âą Extensive world travel (preferred)
