📋 Description

• Model, design, and analyze mechanical systems for data center projects, including HVAC, piping, chilled water systems, cooling towers, boilers, humidification, and condensation systems • Use BIM tools to virtually construct mechanical systems and coordinate with other disciplines using Autodesk Revit • Understand and deliver project requirements related to scope, cost, and schedule • Determine and expedite engineering deliverables • Develop and maintain project scope-of-work documentation and revisions throughout design evolution • Prepare engineering calculations, schematic designs, and detailed designs • Perform computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis to optimize system performance • Prepare technical documentation, including design criteria, calculations, specifications, and mechanical equipment data sheets • Review shop drawings • Produce models and drawings in BIM and CAD tools • Collaborate with other disciplines across the full project lifecycle from schematic design through execution • Perform occasional site visits to support construction progress

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, mechanical or related field • At least 4–5 years of experience as an HVAC or mechanical engineer • Proven expertise in mechanical/HVAC system design • Written and spoken English at B1 level or higher • Hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit — must-have • Experience with CFD software and mechanical modeling tools • Experience designing building and engineering systems for industrial, commercial, or mission-critical projects • Knowledge of mechanical engineering codes and safety standards • Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook • Ability to multitask and prioritize while meeting project deadlines • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly • Must be able to work as an independent, self-employed professional under a formal independent contractor agreement • Responsible for complying with tax and labor obligations in country of residence
