📋 Description

• Model plumbing systems and coordinate them with other disciplines using BIM tools, including Autodesk Revit • Develop plumbing system layouts and detailed designs for mission-critical facilities • Design and model domestic water, sanitary waste, vent, storm drainage, and other plumbing systems • Develop piping layouts, equipment connections, riser diagrams, and system schematics • Perform plumbing calculations and support equipment and piping sizing • Produce coordinated BIM models and construction drawings • Understand and deliver project requirements related to scope, cost, and schedule • Determine and expedite engineering deliverables • Develop and maintain project scope of work documentation and revisions • Coordinate plumbing systems with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection disciplines • Identify and resolve design and coordination issues within the BIM environment • Ensure designs comply with applicable plumbing, building, and project-specific codes and standards • Prepare drawings, schedules, specifications, calculations, and equipment data for project execution • Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance with design intent • Support project teams throughout design development and construction • Perform occasional site visits to support construction progress

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field • At least 4–5 years of experience in plumbing design • Experience designing and modeling plumbing systems for commercial, industrial, or mission-critical facilities • Strong knowledge of domestic water, sanitary, vent, and storm drainage systems • Hands-on Autodesk Revit experience is a must • Experience producing coordinated BIM models and construction documentation • Understanding of applicable plumbing and building codes and standards • Experience coordinating plumbing systems with other engineering disciplines • Experience with U.S.-based projects and data centers is an advantage • Written and spoken English B1 or higher • Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook • Ability to multitask and prioritize while meeting project deadlines • Self-starter, ambitious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly • Resume must be submitted in English • Must work as an independent, self-employed professional under a formal independent contractor agreement • Responsible for complying with tax and labor obligations in the country of residence
