📋 Description

• Deliver strategic and tactical medical planning using neuroscience knowledge, with a focus on dementia, and oncology experience where relevant • Partner cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, brand, patient outcomes/real-world evidence, pricing, reimbursement and access, and clinical teams • Provide medical guidance for pricing, reimbursement, access, commercialization, payer partnerships, and product value defense • Support promotional material development and approval and train sales representatives and medical personnel • Establish relationships with scientific experts, thought leaders, healthcare providers, and professional societies • Serve as scientific expert on Lilly neuroscience and relevant oncology compounds • Support medical information, scientific data dissemination, speaker training, advisory boards, HCP meetings, congresses, publications, and clinical trial registry reporting • Represent country or regional clinical needs in clinical strategies, development plans, and protocol design • Review and approve informed consent documents, risk profiles, IIT proposals, publications, local labelling, and clinical trial activities • Provide medical expertise to regulatory scientists and advisory committees • Evaluate clinical practice trends, access trends, medical literature, and competitive product data • Act as scientific consultant and protocol expert for clinical study teams • Lead and provide direction to internal and external teams and manage medical budgets • Travel to customers, meetings, and congresses within Alliances and internationally; 30%+ travel may be required

🎯 Requirements

• Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy / MBChB/MBBS with national-council registration • Board-eligible or certified in a specialty relevant to neuroscience or oncology, or equivalent post-medical school clinical training relevant to the hiring country • Medical education completed at a school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools or equivalent • 5+ years' experience in Medical Affairs • Clinical and/or research experience in neuroscience, with a focus on dementia, required • Fluent English, verbal and written, required • Spanish fluency is a strong plus; additional regional languages are an advantage • Knowledge of the drug development process relevant to the country or region preferred • Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills • Previous therapeutic-area leadership across geographies • Ability to lead and provide clear direction to internal and external teams • Strong planning, execution, and people-management skills • Ability to interpret technical and scientific data and communicate with credibility • Good presentation skills • Ability to manage medical budgets • Strong track record of teamwork in a cross-functional environment • Willingness to travel to customers, meetings, and congresses within Alliances and internationally; 30%+ travel may be required • Availability to work in EMEA locations aligned with Alliances operating hours
