📋 Description

• generate new mortgage business and promote Empower FCU's mortgage products • guide borrowers through the pre-qualification and pre-approval process • assist with loan applications and ensure timely submission to underwriting • manage the issuance of required disclosure packages and gather necessary documentation • order required services and perform financial calculations • maintain relationships throughout the Western NY region • cultivate relationships with realtors, builders, and third-party partners • leverage proprietary lending software and tools

🎯 Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a mortgage loan officer • associate's degree in business, Finance, or a related field • must be able to qualify and maintain licensing through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) • must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record • proficiency in Microsoft 365, Encompass, Nautilus, and SalesForce • strong understanding of underwriting requirements and experience with various mortgage products • ability to interpret credit reports, appraisals, and other financial documents • detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
