📋 Description

• Build testing infrastructure, deployment workflows, and release pipelines for FORM's image recognition and AI-enabled task management platforms • Design and implement robust test automation frameworks for enterprise-scale products • Build comprehensive automated testing across unit, integration, end-to-end, and load/performance levels • Collaborate with an Agile team to improve testing practices, release processes, and overall product quality • Improve service-oriented architecture testing across distributed, event-driven systems • Evaluate and implement testing tools, deployment strategies, and release management practices • Build quality test coverage and reliable deployment pipelines • Provide valuable insights and mentorship to the team • Participate in planning, architecture, and strategic decisions around testing and release strategy • Diagnose and troubleshoot production and real-world problems • Fix issues and implement safeguards to prevent recurrence • Validate release health using observability and monitoring tools

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on test automation, deployment pipelines, and/or release management • Solid experience implementing automated testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end, load/performance) within event-driven architectures using technologies such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, or similar • Ability to leverage AI Tools to be more efficient and effective • Hands-on experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines and release automation • Experience with or strong understanding of service-oriented architecture and testing across distributed systems • Expertise using and testing gRPC APIs and/or RESTful APIs • Ability to rapidly diagnose and troubleshoot real-world problems quickly and without a lot of context or support • Motivation to participate in planning, architecture, and strategic decisions around testing and release strategy • Strong sense of empathy for the customer experience, with emphasis on reliability and quality • Delivery-oriented approach and understanding of tradeoffs between complete and perfect • Ability and willingness to diagnose, fix, and implement safeguards when systems break • Value for strong collaboration processes • Willingness to learn new things every day • Alignment with company values • Beneficial: experience with Postgres, OpenSearch, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and Agile practices • Beneficial: deep experience building deployment and release pipelines, including blue-green deployments, canary releases, and rollback strategies • Beneficial: familiarity with machine learning concepts and practical applications, including testing ML-driven features • Beneficial: workflow experience with Temporal or Camunda • Beneficial: experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana
