📋 Description

• Take full ownership of a recruiter pod — keep your team focused, unblocked, and performing while carrying a substantial req load yourself. • Provide clear direction to direct reports, translating team goals set by the Head of TA into individual priorities and expectations. • Run regular 1:1s focused on performance, pipeline health, and professional growth. • Quality-check your team's work across the full recruiting process — sourcing, outreach, pipeline management, interview experience, and candidate communication. • Coach direct reports on recruiting craft, stakeholder management, and career development. • Lead by example as a practitioner: take ownership of the more complex and senior searches within your pod's scope. • Escalate people or performance concerns to the Head of TA in a timely way.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in recruitment, with at least 2 years in a team lead or pod leadership capacity. • Demonstrated ability to carry a full req load while supporting the performance and development of others. • Strong recruiting craft across the full hiring lifecycle, including: • Sourcing and outreach strategy; • Pipeline management and candidate experience; • Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration; • Coaching and quality-checking peers or junior team members. • Clear communicator who sets expectations well and surfaces issues early. • Keen sense of prioritisation — able to balance IC work with people responsibilities without dropping the ball on either. • Empathetic team player who leads through example, not authority.
