📋 Description
• Develop models of the electrical characteristics of generation units to comply with national and international grid codes and guidelines • Validate and evaluate wind turbine simulation models • Prepare external model validation as part of the certification process for electrical properties • Provide simulation model support to internal and external stakeholders • Prepare and review technical documentation • Automate validation and verification tasks • Participate in or support national and international committees on modeling and validation procedures
🎯 Requirements
• Master’s degree or Diplom‑Ingenieur in Electrical Engineering, preferably specialized in power, control, or automation engineering — or an equivalent qualification • Several years of professional experience in grid integration of generation plants • Expertise in power engineering, control engineering, or power electronics • Experience with RMS or EMT modelling in at least one simulation software such as PSCAD or DIgSILENT PowerFactory • Knowledge of MATLAB and Python; experience with other simulation tools like PSS/E, EMTP‑RV, or EMTP‑ATP is a plus • Experience developing frequency‑domain simulation models (harmonic models) is an advantage • Good written and spoken German and English
