• Serve as a key resource for the Energy Advisors, providing strategic insight, guidance, and support to help them navigate complex sales cycles and energy challenges. • Lead, mentor, and support the Energy Advisors to drive sales performance and ensure continuous professional development. • Develop and implement sales strategies in collaboration with the team to align with business objectives, ensuring that the team is well-equipped to meet sales targets. • Track, evaluate, and improve sales performance using CRM tools like HubSpot. Lead by example to ensure that the values and principles of 5’s culture are ingrained in the team’s everyday activities.
• 7+ years of experience in retail commercial energy (procurement of electricity or natural gas) is required. • 3+ years of experience managing a B2B sales team, preferably in the energy sector, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. • Experience working within energy markets such as NYISO, ERCOT, PJM, ISO-NE, or similar, with a solid understanding of market dynamics and regulatory requirements. • Ability to provide actionable insights and strategies to improve team performance and adapt to evolving market conditions. • Capable of conveying complex energy solutions in a clear, concise manner and effectively managing internal and external relationships. • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) to monitor team activities and optimize sales processes. • Enthusiasm for energy innovation, sustainability, and helping businesses manage their energy strategies in an ever-changing environment. • Partner with Talent Acquisition to find, hire, onboard, and offboard great people who align with 5’s culture and contribute to a high-performing team. • Demonstrated experience in fostering a collaborative, positive team culture that values integrity, respect, and inclusivity.
