📋 Description

• Design, build, and enhance enterprise Drupal 11+ implementations • Create custom modules, themes, and API integrations • Architect robust database schemas and write high-performance queries • Execute complex data migrations, disaster recovery plans, and system integrations • Conduct security reviews and optimize application performance through caching and query optimization • Ensure high availability by design • Lead technical decision-making and establish coding standards • Perform thorough code reviews • Mentor mid-level and junior developers • Assist teammates with integrations and UI projects leveraging led projects • Help set the Drupal development roadmap • Work closely with cross-functional teammates to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing digital experiences

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of professional backend web development experience, with at least 4 years dedicated specifically to Drupal • Deep understanding of Drupal core, custom module development, the Form API, Twig templating, Drush, and the Drupal community module ecosystem • Ability to work with front-end technologies and teams to integrate CMS project delivery with additional systems • Strong proficiency in PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP) • Advanced database design and management using MySQL/MariaDB and/or PostgreSQL • Extensive experience building and consuming RESTful/GraphQL APIs • Experience with Composer, Git workflow, Continuous Integration & Delivery, and local development environments such as DDEV, Lando, and Docker • Ability to collaborate, guide, support, and elevate team skills while maintaining a cooperative team spirit • Exceptional debugging and troubleshooting skills • Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely • Nice-to-have: Strong experience with Cloudflare Workers, KV, and WAF • Nice-to-have: Cloud infrastructure experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Nice-to-have: Acquia or Drupal Association certifications • Nice-to-have: Understanding of cloud hosting platform patterns such as Kubernetes and Serverless Functions
