• Conduct virtual Sanskrit classes for students (primary, secondary or higher levels based on expertise). • Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the curriculum. • Use digital tools, apps and resources to create an interactive online classroom. • Assess student progress, provide timely feedback and address learning challenges. • Foster a positive, student-centered learning environment to encourage participation and engagement. • Maintain clear communication with students, parents and academic coordinators. • Stay updated on educational trends, methods and tools for teaching Sanskrit online. • Collaborate with the school or academic team to ensure consistent quality in education delivery.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sanskrit, Sanskrit Literature or a related field. • B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification (preferred). • Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience (remote or in-person) in Sanskrit. • Experience with online teaching platforms and digital tools is a plus. • Proficient in using online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams. • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), digital whiteboards and interactive tools. • Basic troubleshooting skills for technical issues during online sessions. • Strong knowledge of Sanskrit grammar, vocabulary and literature. • Ability to explain complex linguistic concepts in a simple and engaging manner. • Excellent communication skills in Sanskrit and English (knowledge of Hindi or regional languages is a plus). • Patience, empathy and an understanding of diverse student needs. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a remote environment. • Experience in preparing students for Sanskrit exams or competitive tests (preferred). • Involvement in extracurricular activities like Sanskrit debates, shloka recitations or cultural programs (preferred).
