📋 Description

• Responsible for the planning, successful execution and follow-up on a diverse range of major client requirements promoting mutual growth and profitability. • Maintain a high level of client trust and respect ensuring client retention. • Carry out innovative and sometimes complex projects to their completion. • Thoroughly analyze maturing data in order to make sound recommendations for next steps that aim to exceed client expectations. • Conduct on site client visits on a regular basis with emphasis placed on client growth, satisfaction and retention. • Develop prospective client relationships and follow up on referrals with the assigned region to identify opportunities, generating additional revenue through the marketing and sales of all NBT Capital Management services. • Manage communications between all parties, trade partners, trust system and NBT Capital Management. • Maintain open communication with all levels of management. • Assist with resolution of escalated major client issues. • Solicit feedback from internal and external partners to continually improve NBT Capital Management deliverables such as client service experience, on line tools, conversions, plan document management, quarterly statement process, year-end compliance testing and 5500's. • Coordinate new client onboarding. • Perform other duties as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university • At least ten (10) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Demonstrated knowledge of ERISA requirements • Experience with administering a broad range of qualified plans including but not limited to 5500’s • Willingness to attain ASPPA certifications, including the Qualified Plan Administrator (QPA) and beyond • Ability to manage client relationships in a professional manner • Position requires the ability to understand and perform complex allocations such as new comparability, integrated plan formulas, earned income calculations, compliance testing to include 402(g), ADP/ACP, 415, Top Heavy, 414(s) compensation test, 410(b) coverage • Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with the ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from clients, company management and colleagues. • Ability to read, analyze and interpret legislative changes, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. • Ability to create reports, professional business correspondence and procedures. • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or written form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. • Must have knowledge of advanced Microsoft Office applications. • Position requires domestic travel for client meetings, conferences and trade shows.
