📋 Description

• Research and interpret sales and property tax rules and regulations • Serve as a bridge between the tax team and the broader finance organization to ensure tax compliance is part of everyday business practices • Collaborate closely with our internal fixed assets team • Support property tax assessments, audits, appeals, and reporting • Prepare basic to medium complexity tax write-ups and related workpapers • Ensure compliance with an internal system of standard procedures and processes • Spot opportunities to streamline processes, reduce risk, and implement best practices • Jump in on special projects and other duties as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Solid knowledge of financial accounting and ability to adhere to general accounting principles • Prefer 3–5 years of experience directly related to the key duties of the role, telecommunications tax experience (VoIP knowledge a strong plus) • Motivated and organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities • A high standard of personal and professional integrity • Flexibility and adaptability — you’re comfortable wearing multiple hats when needed, assuming additional responsibilities and accommodating report requests from management • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook • Experience with Sage Intacct a plus • Strong communication and collaboration skills — you can work across teams with ease • High proficiency with spreadsheets and other analytical tools
